Holidays and Thanksgiving Day to End of April are our busiest times of the year and will be priced based on needs and days/time reserved. For hours beyond the deposit amount, please pay the assistant cash directly.
Once you schedule the appointment, you will receive a form that we would like you to fill out that will inform us more about your child's needs and your requested, such as:
1. Errands ran, housework, filing and organization, etc, and the time frame allotted to complete task.
2. Approval from you to administer medication to your child, if the child is unable or not old enough to do so him/herself. The assistant/sitter may not administer medication to child/children without specific parental instruction, written and signed.
3. Approval to be driven (buses will be used when possible) to or picked up from a location and to participate in activities the sitter may have lined up for the child. This will also require information of what activities the child is able to do and his/her capabilities.
If the assistant/sitter should take the child/children to agreed extracurricular activities and the parent or guardian is not present, there should be a safety professional present at all times. A safety professional includes a lifeguard when swimming, a climbing instructor when climbing, a ski instructor when skiing, etc, unless there is a signed agreement with the parent.
Please have an itinerary of the child's daily routine prepared for the sitter. It should consist of meal time, bedtime, and special requirements (such as sleeping toys, music and/or television channels allowed/not allowed, meals & snacks they enjoy eating, etc). This helps with the transition from parent to sitter and makes it less stressful for the child.
